We are a family business located in El Masnou near Barcelona with more than 45 years at the forefront of the design and manufacture of magnetic compasses, meteorological instruments and ISO certified and well known repair and compass adjustment services for magnetic compasses.
Our magnetic compasses and meteorological instruments combine precision and strength paying attention to the small details that make the difference. Our product range includes all types of magnetic compasses, clocks, barometers, marine chronometers…
All our magnetic compasses comply with the Marine Equipment Directive 2014/90/EC with Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/1667 of 8 August 2023, to offer magnetic compasses that guarantee maximum safety in navigation.
Currently Autonautic Instrumental exports 70% of its production to the 5 continents.

1974
Since Autonautic was founded in 1974 in Barcelona, Spain, our efforts have been focused on the needs of our customers. Our company grew rapidly as a manufacturer of high quality magnetic compasses, clocks and meteorological instruments in Spain.
2004
In 2004 we started to develop our Export department, achieving excellent results where shipyards and distributors from the 5 continents select our compasses and instruments for their customers.
2012
In 2012, we became a RINA service provider for magnetic compasses (revision-certification) complemented by a compensation service after revision and re-installation which we coordinate from our offices.
Our distribution network is extensive, thanks to the quality of our products and the teamwork we have developed within it. We have grown together with our customers and guided by them, we continuously improve to reach the highest manufacturing standard.

If the equipment is damaged, in need of a replacement part or needs serious maintenance it will be restored and returned to you in no time.

In the unlikely event your item fails, at any time during its useful life, due to a manufacturing defect, we guarantee to repair or replace it with immediate effect, free of charge.
